Deadlines (Changed!)

The deadline for the definitive registration for the conference and the conference dinner January 10, 2011.

The Money transfer deadline is January 10, 2011.

Extended Abstracts for both oral and poster presentations should be submitted no later than January 10, 2011.

 

Registration fee

The registration fee is for MSc Students 50 Euro, PhD Students 100 Euro, Academic staff 200 Euro and for Industry 800 Euro. This include abstract book, ice-breaker, coffee/tea breaks and lunches.

  • For Darwin Center PhD's and postdoc's the fee will be paid by Darwin Center.

  • IAS student members may apply for a travel grant through the IAS web page (www.sedimentologists.org). Deadline for application is 1 January 2011

  • There is a possibility for other participants to apply for a travel grants, please send then before 1 December a motivation letter to Marjolein Mullen (M.Mullen@uu.nl). After 15 December 2010 we will let know who receives the available travel grants.

 

Final registration and money-transfer deadline is January 10, 2011.

Official Dinner

The conference dinner will be organized on Thursday evening 27 January in the historical Senate Hall of Utrecht University’s Academy Building in the centre of Utrecht, close to the Dom Tower. In a medieval academic atmosphere we shall have a cosy get-together enjoying a rich buffet. The contribution of the participants for the conference dinner is €50.

 

 

Oral and Poster presentations

If you wish to participate in the conference with a oral or poster presentation, please inform Marjolein Mullen at M.Mullen@uu.nl at your earliest convenience about the title and the theme in which it should be grouped.

Posters should be maximum 1189 x 841 mm in size (DIN A0) and always in portrait orientation. Oral presentations should be prepared with PowerPoint.

Abstract deadline is January 10, 2011. Abstract (no more than 2 A4) will be formal accepted after receiving payment of the registration fee. 

 

 

Business Meetings

On tuesday 25 January it will be possible to organize independant business meeting at Utrecht University. Please mail Marjolein Mullen at M.Mullen@uu.nl with your request and details of the meeting, she will try to book the needed meeting rooms.
